Thus far, what I've gathered from my study abroad experience is that the objective is really to have fun. How have I arrived at this conclusion? Well, my classes are generally the most easy courses that I've had since high school. For example, I have received three "A+" grades on papers-something that just wouldn't happen at UCLA. Also, we have an unimaginable amount of vacation time. Three weeks in the fall and seven weeks in the winter!?! Then there's Purim, Pesach, Memorial Day...
Essentially, I love studying abroad and I love Israel.
